This Forest represents the once tropical rainforests which are slowly diminishing because of man’s activities.

Zika forest was gazetted for environmental conservation with three ecosystems including grassland, Forest, swam, or wetland vegetation with three distinct canopies. The forest has a variety of primates especially monkeys,  a lot of bird species and numerous butterflies also exist in the area and are also bred there and other animal species.
