Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Kidepo Valley National Park

After your breakfast, you will be picked up by our driver guide from Nsheka African Adventures to begin your journey to Kidepo Valley National Park. It is a long journey, and we will wake up early to beat the hours and the traffic jam. A lunch stop will be made on the way and several stops as requested for you to stretch your legs or use the bathroom. Upon your arrival, you’ll check into your booked safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive with Cultural encounter (Karamojong’s)

Wake up to an early morning breakfast, or you can choose to pack yours and have it during the game. We will set out early for the morning game for a chance of great sightings, as the animals tend to be more active at this time. Return to the lodge after your awesome adventure, and after your lunch, set out for a cultural encounter with the Karamojong’s, a unique group of people. You’ll get to learn about their way of life and their various cultural practices. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Nature Walk with an Evening Game Drive

You will head out for a nature walk through Kanangorok Hot Springs after breakfast. The landscape here is breath-taking, and you may get to see quite a large number of ostriches roaming around, as they are often seen in this part of the park. Return to the lodge for lunch and get some time for relaxation before your evening game drive. The game drive will take 2-3 hours, a good chance for you to spot some of the wildlife you may have missed during the morning game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Kidepo Valley National Park back to Kampala

After breakfast, you will check out the safari lodge and begin your journey back to Kampala. You’ll have a few stops, including one for lunch, on your way, and once in Kampala, you will be dropped off at your desired location. Meal Plan: H/B
