Departure: Post breakfast, set out for Lake Mburo National Park, a home to only 3 of the big five game and abundant impalas, topis, zebras, birds and endangered Rothschild giraffes.. As you traverse the scenic Masaka-Mbarara anticipate a day filled with nature’s wonders. Along the Way: En-route, make a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe for photography and water experiments that demonstrate the equator’s effects. Afternoon: Arrival & Lunch: On reaching, check into your lodge and savor a delicious lunch with views of the park. Boat Cruise: Post lunch, embark on a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. This 2-hour aquatic journey promises sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and a diverse range of water birds including pelicans, fish eagles, and the rare shoebill stork. Evening: Nature Walk: As the sun begins its descent, set out on a guided nature walk. This is a chance to experience the park’s flora and fauna up close.
